Foundation supports Big Tidy Up on Gatehouse estate
"The Big Tidy Up" comes to the Gatehouse estate in Aylesbury on Saturday 18th September when local people are invited to come along and help clean up the area.
The event runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm and people are invited to meet outside Aston Chemicals on Bicester Road at 9:00am, where there will be a fire service display. Equipment, including gloves and high visibility jackets, will be supplied to all participants to help collect litter and tidy up the Gatehouse estate.
Free tea and coffee will be served to all participants at 11:30am at Buckinghamshire Community Foundation at Foundation House at 119A Bicester Road.
The event is being supported by Aylesbury Town Council, Aylesbury Vale District Council, Aylesbury Vale Youth for Christ, Aylesbury Youth Action, Buckinghamshire Community Foundation, Buckinghamshire County Council, Buckinghamshire Drug Action and Alcohol Team, Buckinghamshire Fire Service, The Big Lottery Fund and Vale of Aylesbury Housing.
