Double Your Money.....
A free contribution of £1 for every £1 donated in permanent endowment until March 2011!
Who can donate?
- Companies
- Individuals
- Families
- Inactive and dormant charitable trusts
How much can you give?
- Any amount to be invested for unrestricted grant making
- At least £25,000 to establish a Named Fund with the donor describing their philanthropic preferences, by theme and/or geographical area
Gift Aid
For any individual donations, Gift Aid counts towards the match funding. Until 2011, Gift Aid will be applied at 28pence in every pound. It works like this:
Donation £10,000* + Gift Aid £2,800 = £12,800.
Then ADD another 100% in match funding and the total donation becomes £25,600
*Total cost to donor may be less than the original donation depending on personal tax circumstances as charitable donations enjoy tax relief.
