Funds Available

For Small Grants applicants must be voluntary and community groups (or your project) operating within Buckinghamshire. Another fund, the Slough Social Fund, is available to voluntary or community groups working in the South Bucks Area.

Small Grants
This on-going programme provides grants of up to £1,000. Applications to this programme are considered every other month. Please click here for further details.

Grassroots Grants
These funds are now fully allocated. No more grants will be made from these funds for the time being, until the endowment funds are available. Further details will be posted here when they become available.

Slough Social Fund
This on going programme provides grants up to £5,000. Applications to this fund will be considered again in September 2010. Please click here for further details.

Bucks Masonic Grassroots Fund
This on-going programme provides grants from £1000-£3000. Grants are available in September 2010 and April 2011 Please click here for further details.

Windhill Trust
This ongoing programme provides grants from £500-£3000 available in September 2010 and April 2011. Please click here for further details.

Comic Relief
These funds are now fully allocated. No more grants will be made from these funds.

How to Apply

The process of application is the same for each of the grant schemes.

1. Complete an Expression of Interest form and email or post it back.

2. The information provided on the Expression of Interest form is then assessed by our Grants Team. We will advise which of our grant programmes you should apply to and send you an application form for completion. Please contact our Outreach Officer (Bev Trevitt) if you would like support with completing the application.

3. Completed application forms should be returned to Buckinghamshire Community Foundation, Foundation House, 119A Bicester Road, Aylesbury HP19 9BA

4. Your grant application is assessed by our Independent Grants Committee.
You will be notified the result of your grant application within 7 working day of the Grants Committee Meeting.

We are delighted with the popularity of the Grassroots Grants and the Slough Social Fund grant programmes but as a result of the high demand, the Foundation has needed to take steps to reduce the frequency with which these applications are considered.
