Graham Peart F.InsSMM (Chairman)
A company owner and Chairman with 35+ years business experience. Extensive contacts in the local business community. Past Financial Director of Wycombe Wanderers FC. A Trustee for seven years and Chairman since 2006.
David Sumpter JP (Vice Chair)
Over 30 years experience in the Insurance Broking Industry. School Governor, Magistrate, Rotarian and former president and Chairman of Marlow Rugby Football Club. Many contacts in the sporting and business communities.
Cherry Aston
Over 20 years experience of local government with a particular interest in Social Services and services to the elderly and people with Learning Disabilities. A member of associations interested in the countryside and historical Buckinghamshire and a governor of John Hampden Grammar School.
Guy Birkby BA Hons ACIB
30 years experience in Corporate and Commercial banking.Extensive contacts in business and local communities. Director Bucks Economic and Learning Partnership, Director 4CWycombe, Business Advisory Board for Bucks New Uni, Bucks Ambassador, Trustee Scannappeal, Rotarian. Involvement with several other voluntary organisations in the county.
Bill McDonald FICB JP (Treasurer and Chair of the Investment Committee)
33 years experience in international banking, now retired. Good geographical knowledge of south Bucks area. Contacts locally amongst other magistrates and legal spectrums.
Mike Clare
Former company owner with 30 years experience with a major High Street store in the retail sector. A widely varied field of contacts, including in the charitable sector, across the county of which Mike has good geographic knowledge.
Simon Deans LLB (Secretary)
Partner in local law firm with 13 years commercial experience and excellent geographic knowledge of the county. Contacts with an extensive local client base and within legal circles.
Roy Collis DL
Former County Librarian of Buckinghamshire with over 35 years experience in local governement and good links with the voluntary and community sector in the county, Chairman and Patron of many notable local charities. Governor of Cottesloe School, Bucks Ambassador and Rotarian. DL since 2001.
Anita English OBE (Chair of the Grants Committee)
has been continuously involved in the Voluntary Sector since 1970 and was awarded the OBE in 2001 for services to Training for the Disadvantaged. By formal training, Anita is a professional graphic artist with experience in the media. Anita is also currently a non-Executive Director of The Fremantle Trust and has been a former Board Member of numerous voluntary and community sector bodies in Buckinghamshire, including Buckinghamshire Community Action, Chiltern & South Bucks Council for Voluntary Services and Thames Valley Enterprise. Trustee for 4.5 years.
Peter Keen (Chair of the Fund Development Group)
A company owner and Chairman with extensive commercial acumen and 40 years experience. Contacts in many different fields of commerce and highly skilled in relationship management.
Alexander Shephard DL
Erstwhile High Sheriff of Bucks. 30 years experience as CEO of International Publishers and local Farmer. Excellent contacts in industry both locally and internationally. Extensive geographic knowledge of Buckinghamshire.
